Building a verified, distributed water economy
BlueSignal builds both the hardware and the marketplace that turn distributed water production and nutrient reduction into credits anyone can verify — measured by sensors, not spreadsheets.
Why we exist
Water is getting scarcer and dirtier while the systems that account for it still run on paperwork and trust. We think the unit of progress is a verified one: a gallon produced, or a kilogram of nitrogen or phosphorus kept out of a waterway, measured continuously and provable to a regulator, a utility, or a buyer.
So we build the measurement layer and the market on top of it — so distributed producers get paid, utilities add supply without breaking ground, and every credit traces back to real data.
Two brands, one system
Hardware and marketplace are built to work together, and stand on their own.
BlueSignal
The hardware: the WQM-1 water-quality monitor and the cloud that turns its readings into an auditable record. The measurement layer under every credit.

The marketplace: a structured exchange for sensor-verified Quantity and Kilogram Credits, with a public registry and on-platform settlement.
How it works →Where we are
We’re pre-launch and we say so plainly. The WQM-1 is in pre-production (US provisional patent filed April 2026), the verification methodology is in development, and pilot enrollment opens with our first utility partners.
For the honest, item-by-item status — hardware, protocol, utility engagement, regulatory, and installer network — see the snapshot on our home page.
